Gurukul International School planted 50 trees and plants in the school play ground under plantation drive initiated by Go Clean Go Green Foundation headed by Mr. Manoj Negi. Mr. Madan Bisht Ranger forest department haldwani provided the trees and was also present. Honorable Mayor Dr. Jogender Singh Rautela was the chief guest of the programme and he motivated teachers and students to develop a connection with the nature and advised them to plant trees at least one in the blank space nearby places to secure the environment. The first match played between Shivaji Super king Vs Ashoka Warriors & the Shivaji Super king won by 91 runs, second match played between Tagore Fighters Vs Raman Challengers & the Raman Challengers declared winner by D.L.S rule. The final match played between Shivaji Super king Vs Raman Challengers and the Shivaji Super king won the match by 14 runs. Then after One friendly match played between Green Mount Global School Vs Gurukul International School and GIS won the match by 46 runs.

Some of the students dressed up as school teachers and took junior classes. In the beginning of the program, the Principal Mr. J. P. Singh garlanded portrait of the Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Then teachers performed cultural programs Mrs. Preeti and Mrs. Deepti Joshi also entertained the teachers by singing comical song respectively and at the end of the program, the teachers were presented mementos by Principal. The Director of school Mr. V. B. Nainwal wished all the teachers and said each teacher needs to secure the respect of the students because this is hard earned wealth and that last long. He added every teacher should strive to be great teacher by virtues.
